Threads Of Destiny

The "Threads of Destiny" is a Chinese and Japanese belief  that all of us are connected to an invisible thread that binds us and that we will eventually meet and cross paths with our destined partners one day.

I would like to believe that I might have met someone like that.

I remember It was 2022 or 2023 or so, he was newly transferred from the company main headquarters in Japan and I was still fresh in my first year. I was heading back from another work place back to headquarters in a bus, it was a sunny and windy day and I was admiring the view by the window seat. And that's when I saw him walking and enjoying his walk with a carefree smile on his face. We had just passed each other and I swear he'd seen me too.

And that's when I realised that a spark in me has lit and I was looking forward to see him smile again.

Why do I feel a pull towards you whenever I am near you

The feeling like something is pulling me towards you

You remind me of the sea and the ocean colour blue.

Looking to your eyes is like looking at the ocean,  your eyes holds a certain mystery like the depths of the sea gazing back. 

Unpredictably and unknowingly captivating with a beautiful sense of depthness and intimidation. 

Calm, captivating yet peaceful and a certain unexplainable "je ne sais quos" quality about you. 

Calm, intimidating and always composed, and an airy feeling of laid-backness that always draws me to you.

Your smile reminds me of a clear blue sky on a warm sunny day. I miss seeing you smile and I hope I can see you smile again one day. 

I hope maybe one day we will meet again not as colleagues but as friends or something more.

a brief moment

This connection is one that I have never encountered before, From the moment I chanced upon, I had a gut feeling that this has some sort of purpose. For the first time, I felt calm at an unfamiliar environment and things was just Smooth,    Then onwards,        Everything was just Right.    But,  This connection I have never did grow, Soon, all I ever felt was like the tides of the ocean,   Like magnets attracting and repelling each time,  I had to leave to find myself, but somehow I will always come back one way or another. This time, I felt like its drifting away even more as time passes, Why do I feel such immense grief and sadness when nothing has even begun. No matter what, I am certain Only time will tell.   Come what may be.
